Two Teenagers Injured From Separate Shootings In Central Mass, Police Say

Two teenagers were hospitalized in two separate shootings that happened over the weekend in Worcester, authorities said.

First, a 15-year-old boy was shot on Vernon Street around 6:45 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, Worcester Police said. He was taken to a local hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.

Then, 17-year-old boy was shot in the area of Orne Street after police responded to a ShotSpotter activation just before 10 p.m. on Sunday, June 12, police added. He was also taken to the local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
